I guess you could say I got my start 25-30 years ago when I opened my first shop called backstreet flea market in downtown Asheboro on a little side street I believe it was called first Street now here I am 25 or 30 years later with rainbow Treasures I worked other jobs also but I always came back to the buying and selling junk as I called it back then but it's something I really enjoy and love doing and love meeting the people I had many many friends over the years that would come on a weekly basis to see what was new they couldn't wait many of them were like family we considered ourselves family a lot of them has passed on now but I still buy and see things that reminds me of them and it makes me smile and I guess you could say that's how rainbow Treasures really got it start from years past Rainbow Treasures got it start and that was in June of 2025 I was lying in the bed one night brainstorming and I come up with the name rainbow Treasures I said I'm going to make a business so I started a business on marketplace and I called it rainbow Treasures it was a buy and cell group as long as you was in the group you can buy and sell I did that for no charge for 5 years and then I decided I wanted my own web page because I had retired and I finally got the web page and this is where I'm at now but before that I ran several shops antique shops and flea market shops and consignment shops in downtown Asheboro for 20 or 25 years that's all I've ever known really I love collecting and buying and selling as my passion it was fun for a lot of so now I'm a website called rainbow Treasures and we're open Monday through Saturday 9:00 to 6:00 closed on Sunday so check us out
